I worked at Comcast full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great Company Benefits, You WILL learn a lot about the industry! I loved my job even through the years I had struggling bosses.

    Cons

When they cut heads you are just a number. Doesn't matter how long you have been there or if you exceeded every review for over 19 years. CUT and no love shown at the time either!

    Advice to Management

Don't tell someone you will help find the a position cause you don't agree with them cutting you and leave them out to dry! Don't tell someone you are letting go "you're an awesome employee" it hurts enough to just get blindsided and walked out like a criminal. BOO

    Pros

    The company has great benifits

    Cons

Need new managers and director. They changed commission so it's very hard to make money.

I have been working at Comcast full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    The benefits are good.

    Cons

The entire company is linked. You can't complain to HR with them going behind your back. It's a lot of white privilege. They will make your job hard if you speak up about it. And they offer surveys but the survey is linked to your bonus, If you give management a bad review, it will affect you.

    Advice to Management

Management through out the company is horrible. They all stick together. Management will let a good employee go just because of their ego. Or to put someone in their place that they can pay less.

I worked at Comcast full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discounted services, beautiful building, nice area

    Cons

It seems to run as if it's its own separate company, there isn't any communication amongst management to employees. The pay is way below what a company of this magnitude should pay someone who works full time

    Advice to Management

Get competitive with pay, have the company run as a single unit

I have been working at Comcast part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love the company! I love how innovative we are as a company. We are always moving one step ahead and I appreciate it.

    The pay is fair
    Commission is uncapped!
    The bonus incentives are amazing

And most importantly I have an amazing Sup. I truly feel that his success is engulfed around ours. He wants to truly make sure we succeed within the company and on his team. Comcast provides all the tools to help you succeed. I know this sounds like a made up post that someone paid me to write but I promise I love the company.

The health benefits are just the same as some of my fulltime positions I've had and the give part-time employees almost all benefits!!

    Cons

    No work at home options.
Tuition reimbursement should be offered to part-time employees

    Advice to Management

I believe that Part-time employees should receive tuition reimbursement as well. Maybe not the full amount as full, however, they should receive some compensation especially if they are holding a degree equivalent to their position within the company.

Work at home options should be available to employees that are high performers. I can literally do my job remotely.
