    Pros

Love the culture and people. Benefits are also very good. Job is challenging and most of the time interesting. Lots of room to learn.

    Cons

Management is overly agressive. Long hours and lots of overnight work. Training is mostly on the job and expectations are demanding.

    Advice to Management

Add additional training and hire more people.

    Pros

4 days from office, 1 day remote.
Cheap internet and premium TV (~30$ a month)
    Good healthcare company (bluecross)
Dental insurance (Meh, $1500 max a yaer)
    On site gym

    Cons

I work in a remote area where few employers. If you work and live in South Jersey you won't have a lot of options if you want to leave the job. Consider an option for area where there are lot of business clusters.
Salaries are blew market rate, and performance of engineers are based on data center calls.

There are lot of contractors in the company, and most of the contractors are low quality engineers. Some of them fake their credentials in order to get a contract position.

When you have a high retention rate, it slows down the company growth.

    Advice to Management

Try to lock down your engineers instead of making them unhappy with blew market rate wages.

I have been working at Comcast full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free/discounted cable, GREAT 4.5% 401k match one of the best.

    Cons

Where to start? You can't trust management, they will step on you to cover their tracks. No moral...sneaky communications tactics...putting nothing in writing, tell you to sign a ton of legal documents. One person I work with was "warned" about being in reserves, of course not in writing. No severence, but you are constantly ready to be outsourced.

    Advice to Management

Put your money where your mouth is. Put down the management cliff notes and learn something. The tag line "We appreciate everything you do." And "You are a rock star!" don't cut it.. maybe go into teaching? Don't have interviews for people that you never intend to hire.

I have been working at Comcast full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Free cable.
    - Good personal life and work life balance
    - Good customer base ensures you have good projects to work on

    Cons

    - Low salary
    - Poor Management
    - 0 Growth opportunities
    - Managers ensure you dont grow - They talk to you all nice and sweet & tell you, you are doing good at work, but when it comes performance evaluation - poor outcome. If you apply internally to other positions, they ensure you dont get it. PS. Notifying manager is important when applying for internal jobs.
    - No respect from management for what you do

    Advice to Management

Be professionals, don't act like high school kid who is jealous of their employees growth
