I worked at Commercial Express HVAC

This is a very professional place to work, if you are a tradesman looking to work somewhere that has a good image this is the place for you . They keep all of their vehicles in extremely good condition, expect that they are kept clean at all times very organized and have great processes in place that makes it easy to do your job. There is plenty of work in preventive maintenance for their technicians which keeps... them busy all year. The pay there is competitive .

Although professionalism has an appeal there is the nuts and bolts factor that cant be taken away from repairing Air Conditioning and Heating equipment . You will hear a lot of high praise given to certain select mentors in the company and when you get a chance to work with them you may be disappointed to find that there knowledge and skill level Is fundamental at best. The environment has a cult culture and they... will love bomb you on the way in the door and praise you when they need you for a special project or in the middle of the summer but beware if they think badly of you there isn't a chance you will find out there is no communication. The company is growing and recently went through a management change which has shook there core they no longer carry the same value system which they preach . They are a numbers based company are looking for the quick dollar just like most companies . If you are looking for a review or maybe some performance based feedback good luck on getting any use full information. What you can expect is a junior mechanic(Supervisor) who is threatened by talent to write a two or three page letter which will hasten your exit but of course you will never get the privilege of reading or ever no if there was an issue that may need resolved and for some professionals feed back would be important for their growth. If you have a phone issue be prepared to come out of pocket for the repair or replacement costs they refuse to make any type of insurance claims and there phones run around $ 600.00 for replacement. It is also well known if you are hurt on the job they will pay for it out of pocket so you wont have to bother making an insurance claim .

    Advice to Management

Be honest with new hires about what is expected . This is not a lifestyle or a community . It is just like any other place to work . Keep it professional and straight forward .
