Pros
It's a job. Benefits are good. There is a cafeteria onsite with the most unhealthy food available. Its a billion dollar company.
Cons
Everybody in upper management are "yes men". The leadership does not have your back. Management asks how they can bring up recruitment and quality employees when they are slowly slipping away from taking care of the loyal employees that have continuously brought quality hard wok to the table. Talking with guys from 2 different departments and both talked about how they brought up to management how to make working here better. The answer to that was simply "money", but they just pretend that that is not the issue nor a solution. When the Plant Management brags about being a billion dollar company, yet does not take care of the current employees, that says a lot. We are not stupid and can read right through them. Maintenance dept. lost quite a bit of employees to the new Tesla plant that opened in Austin.
