Great People for Collaborative Work
Mar 11, 2023 - Market Director in Phoenix, AZRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very accepting and collaborative team. Not very political, but all are valued.
Cons
Highest levels need better leadership. Cutting full time employees causes all departments to work with too few resources (manpower). Local leadership allows National level leadership dictate local needs. Local market is generating revenue for the entire organization nationally, but cutting locally when departments are already at bare bones.

Good PPL, Good Mission
Mar 14, 2023 - Application Analyst in Houston, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Most of the ppl you work with are very hard working. Senior management is excellent. This is a mission oriented organization that focuses on internal and external influences to the mission. This is good, because you feel like they are in-touch.
Cons
If you are very experiences as an Analyst, they won't hire you. There are IT managers that overlook qualifications and experiences to choose without in order to make themselves feel and look good.

Worst Place Ever
Mar 20, 2023 - Security Coordinator in Phoenix, AZRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
None that come to mind
Cons
Management doesn't care, except when they decide they want to exert their authority on something. If they get a chance to be reactionary or to make up an excuse to yell at you, they spring at the chance. Otherwise, they have all checked out and don't do a thing.

Poor Managment
Feb 17, 2023 - Human Resources Generalist in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is a lot of helpful knowledge based systems, so much room for growth as an employee.
Cons
I had a small department and the manager had been there over 20 years. She was asked to give an exit interview and refused. Lied to upper management about specific people that were her direct reports to sabotage career opportunities, set poor examples, should not be in management and her upper level superior did nothing to correct the situation. Also there was a lot of prayer and religion mixed in on a regular basis and that is not supporting DEI.

Pros
Local team is great! Extremely helpful and willing to assist or grow others in their roles. Working remotely, you can feel left out, but this team makes sure that everyone is valued and heard. Challenging work, but very rewarding. The company is big on internal growth and growing current talent into the roles that they want.
Cons
High volume; we service a lot of facilities. Not as much time as I would like to spend on individuals and their needs

Negative Experience Working for Common Spirit, Catholic Health Initiative in Lincoln, NE
Feb 3, 2023 - Certified Nurse AssistantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pros included work experience with patient care and working alongside providers who have compassion and empathy for their patients. My experience with the providers was exceptional.
Cons
The cons of working for Catholic Health Initiative, Common Spirit, is the management as well as human resources department. I found my experience to be unprofessional with poor communication and inappropriateness. For this reason, I would not choose to work for the large company again moving forward. My experience with working for providers was great, but the management team and human resources department is unhealthy and not up to date on best practices on fair work practices. This is a huge disservice to those working for this company as well as the providers trying to provide daily patient care and I believe will result in high turnover of employees.
