    Pros

The people are nice and they are very accomodating to schedule. The management is nice and so are many of the people that I work with. Commonwealth does to some degree value their associates.

    Cons

Its very hard to advance. Its a rather small company and the benefits aren't the best. It seems like once you get in a position you are stuck there for quite some time.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Commonwealth Hotels full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My managers are friendly, competent, and ethical in their dealings. I think they're proactive with their communication, and that we enjoy some schedule flexibility, and a great benefits package. There is a communal sense of purpose and mission.

    Cons

Base pay is not particularly competitive relative to the living costs of the metro area. Scheduling is only done briefly in advance, and management could communicate slower periods with less than full hours more in advance.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good leadership, but be more proactive with employees about cycles and trends of occupancy and staffing needs.
