Freedom and support to pursue your wildest science goals (are you up to the task?).

    1. Some bureaucracy is there. It can't really slow you too much, but at times it feels unnecessary.

    1. Unsubstantiated promotions of underqualified people to roles which determine and constraint the budget for deserving scientists and their work 2. Low salaries 3. Even "permanent" employees always fearing redundancy in spite of stellar work 4. No vision at the top level 5. No support for postdocs to grow into staff scientists or support to their immigration

    Well..you are managing scientists of the highest calibre who are dedicated to the work to their last breath. Respect them and do not treat them as dispensable.
