Work with very well meaning people, have a positive mission Great retirement and benefits - more time off than you can use, excellent healthcare
Cons
Work with many "retired in place" people that can't or won't get the job done Most agencies are underfunded so IT work is grabbing for pennies Politics is real. Many agencies get new leadership every 4 years like clockwork
