What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

    Pros

Branch manager is nice, she tries to be personable with her staff. The location is good. Customers are great. The pay is okay

    Cons

Assistant manager is high strung. All staff at this branch was new and that made training hard. I was thrown into working the teller line before any training was done. Branch manager refuses to listen to complaint on her Assistant manager. Customers have a hard time dealing with the assistant manager an that makes the teller line hard at time.

    Pros

Before covid, they recognized and rewarded their associates every quarter. PTO is good.

    Cons

During COVID, they changed, our bonus structure mid year because of the amount of PPP Loans the managers and BBO's were doing. It is almost impossible to to get a bonus because they keep changing the rules on what qualifies as a new account. Upper management makes all the decisions for the banking centers without talking to the manager who works with the clients everyday.
