    Pros

    None. Zip. Nada. Zero. Nothing.

    Cons

Sell out to what students want and you will be fine. Lower your standards based on the quality of the students that you will have.

I worked at Community College of Baltimore County part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good leadership in some areas; lots of pt job options; some schedule flexibility depending on dept; stayed bc schedule and location worked for my family needs

    Cons

Very disorganized place; focused on getting students in the door not on them completing; one initiative after another but they don't see anything through; too many long service entitled employees that pass the buck; no raise in 6 years bc I was pt; too much who you know rather than what you know when it comes to advancement; old boy network is alive and well

    Advice to Management

Stop giving lip service. Really support completion of students. Improve amount of advisors bc they are stretched way to thin to really give students the level of support most of them need; Make pt office employees feel valued w annual raises and benefits such as tuition discounts and paid time off; when hiring management, stop the favortism and racism and hire the most qualified candidate; clean house of non performing chair warmer employees and get some new blood in there
