    Pros

GOod place to work, they offer alot of incentives and bonuses, can be stressful at times if you do not know your job.

    Cons

The work can be stressful, the days can be long, they offer alot of overtime which can be good or bad depending on the person,.

    Advice to Management

Continue to help train employees on new things, they do have alot of training courses but it wouldnt hurt to check up on people after training and not throw them to the wolves

    Pros

paycheck is all you get they play favorites. They really don't promote very well. Cheat you out of bounses. really not a good company to work for. They do not care about there employess or whats best for company.

    Cons

The director is rude and does not make wise decesion for the company. She has you do projects and then scores you down on your score cards for it. Very bad department to work for.

    Advice to Management

Take more consideration for your employees when you change something. Give them time to adjust to what you are asking them to do.

I worked at Community Health Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a family here. Everyone was kind, helpful, and helped alleviate any tension. As far as coworkers go, I rate this place five stars. They have awesome benefits, and the pay is honestly not that bad. It's in a convenient location, so finding a spot for lunch is great.

    Cons

They write you up for allegations or "hearsay" without even hearing your side of the story. They DO NOT work with you on sick time or vacation time. The parking lot is literally humongous, so it takes you about 5 minutes just to walk into the building every morning.

    Advice to Management

I'd advise you to take into consideration that when employees are sick, have loved ones that are sick, or have an emergency, to lighten up. Life happens. I love having the flu and calling out of work just as much as you love being one employee short for the day. There's no need to have a sit down with me and tell me to "try not to be so sick going forward." It would also help if hearsay was eliminated. These are people's lives and careers, and if someone gets fired because Joe in accounting "thinks he heard someone say this, but can't really pinpoint a day or a time or what exactly happened," then you should seriously reevaluate your morals and management-employee relationship standards.

I have been working at Community Health Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy workflow and flexible scheduling.

    Cons

Hostile work environment, passive aggressive co-workers, distrustful or combative clinicians, reverse sexism and abusive patients.

    Advice to Management

Keep the corporate oversight and micromanaging to minimum, stop making excuses for abusive clinicians because they're quote overworked, report consistently to HR about internal problems rather than trying to keep it in house, ditch the banking hours mentality for managers, hold all staff equally responsible for workload and accountable rather than selectively choosing corrective action based on how much the facility likes the employee, ditch the we're guests at the facility when CHS actually owns the facility mentality, etc.
