I worked at Community Residences Inc. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

As an Assistant Manager (QIDP) for 7 years, you get tons of experience in every aspect of the ICF experience because they run you like a chicken with your head cut off for cheap.

    Cons

Inexperienced and unqualified managers. Bullying. Turnover rate- I’ve had 4 supervisors since working there. Management has little to know experience- it’s kind of backwards.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes!!!! You cannot run 3 homes in Richmond from Chantilly with NO HR admin. Stop breaking laws and give employees their well earned vacation money. Hire administrative staff with proper qualifications and education !!!!

Company has been around since 1975 and is very solid.

    Cons

    Website sucks.

Note to this site: Dennis Manning is no longer the CEO. It is Arthur Ginsberg!

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work CR!

I have been working at Community Residences Inc. full-time

    Pros

The individuals supported are absolutely extraordinary. Just like most other group home settings, it is fairly routine, so aside from emergency crisis situations, you know what to look forward to.

    Cons

CR is all about image. What looks good and keeps money rolling in. Basically have to be a con artist to survive here.

    Advice to Management

Get in and get out. It is great professional experience, but no one should spend more than 3-5 years in one position here. Move up or move out.
