    Pros

    -Lots of overtime
    -Great individuals
-Downtime helps with the long hours

    Cons

-Management takes advantage of their good employees
-Make promises to employees about advancement but never deliver on them
-Management uses employees as scapegoats when they get in trouble

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your staff. When the good employees get treated poorly and the bad employees get away with doing cocaine in their off time in the next city while being gone for 4 1/2 hours it really shows that personal relationships are more important to management than actually caring for the individuals.

I have been working at Community Resources For Justice full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Laid back work environment, flexible hours, tuition reimbursement, 8 hour work days

    Cons

Not located in good area, small office, vacation/sick time accrues very slowly, does not reimburse for train pass, no parking for employees, no perks within the office (happy hours, summer party, christmas party, catered lunches), not much room for growth, no bonuses/raises

    Advice to Management

if you made the work environment more friendly to employees and gave something to look forward to, then it might promote better work ethic/morale within the office

    Pros

OT. The job is only worth it with the OT.

    Cons

Low pay, expected to stay over when understaffed (which is always), terrible terrible management, terrible director, VP doesn't keep director in line. Everyone gets away with everything, management plays favorites, clients can put you out on unpaid leave for lies. No one will support you

    Advice to Management

Fire your managers, fire your director, hold people accountable.

    Pros

CRJ really values and encourages employee advancement and morale. They put a lot of money and effort behind training employees to keep them current on all thing in the reentry field.

    Creativity is encouraged.

    Cons

The only thing I can think of is the separation between frontline staff and high-level administration.

This is a fabulous company to work for. People are glad to answer questions and point you in the right direction. The structure is impeccable and the supervision excellent. I love working here and look forward to continuing to do so.

    Cons

I would say a Con to working here is that I did not do it sooner.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

They hire about anyone with no experience. endless overtime opportunity.

    Cons

terrible pay. hours are even worse. days off are not consistent. high turn over rate due to lack of management and working people to the bone for low pay. would not recommend to anyone. a lot of smoke and mirrors within this company. wish I believed previous reviews before accepting a position here.

    Advice to Management

pay employees better and focus on keeping employees rather than constantly having to train new employees.
