I have been working at Community Resources For Justice full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you have a good boss, its a great environment to learn and grow.

    Cons

Corporate doesn't care. They leave people out to dry, leave them understaffed, no communication about fixing problems in the house, given the run around

    Advice to Management

start listening to your employees and act on problems rather than let them brew

    Pros

CRJ really values and encourages employee advancement and morale. They put a lot of money and effort behind training employees to keep them current on all thing in the reentry field.

    Creativity is encouraged.

    Cons

The only thing I can think of is the separation between frontline staff and high-level administration.

    Pros

This is a fabulous company to work for. People are glad to answer questions and point you in the right direction. The structure is impeccable and the supervision excellent. I love working here and look forward to continuing to do so.

    Cons

I would say a Con to working here is that I did not do it sooner.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I have been working at Community Resources For Justice full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They hire about anyone with no experience. endless overtime opportunity.

    Cons

terrible pay. hours are even worse. days off are not consistent. high turn over rate due to lack of management and working people to the bone for low pay. would not recommend to anyone. a lot of smoke and mirrors within this company. wish I believed previous reviews before accepting a position here.

    Advice to Management

pay employees better and focus on keeping employees rather than constantly having to train new employees.

    Pros

I like to work with the youth and the young adults with behavior or intellectual disability. I think I have much interest in that area though I am capable of working with all age group under the social services.

    Cons

In all, I think it's a good company. I want to work closer to Worcester due to my education. I work mostly for CRJ in Leominster and sometimes they can send me to Athol, Winchendon etc. which quite a distance from Worcester. Besides, I was told of the team work and good benefits you have in your company including good pay etc. which interested me most.

    Advice to Management

I think CRJ can do better with the pay. It used to be $11.50/hr but just raised to $12.00/hr which is yet to reflect on my paycheck.

    Pros

That I loved the clients and co workers they had good vacation pay after being there awhile to much to even use

    Cons

I was promised a position and had to work 3 years with only a 4 thousand dollar increase to manage a 2nd program and it was a job they paid beans for and said you had to work this position in order to go up a level and when the promotion came they gave to someone else who did not put in the time like I did

    Advice to Management

Keep your promises and don't forget where you came from and how hard I worked
