    Pros

    Compass group provides an opportunity to grow for dedicated and loyal staff. If you believe in company vision, if you follow it day in and day out- then this is the company to work for. I do and I am successful. In 25 years of experience working for different companies, only Compass got the best out of me.

    Cons

    Working for the company that provides service to healthcare facilities - health benefit could be better. It is too expensive

    Advice to Management

    Use talent profile of Compass Data base on My LMS to acknowledge who is the next one for the promotion and build development plan to get this person ready. Company grows faster then talents developed for the next level of promotion and level of responsibility

    Upper management-District Manager , RVP etc.... very little to no woman and minority's still guarded by baby boomer, very little diversity in upper management. Disappointing, but high opportunity to grow and make that change.

    Off weekends meet great people can train in various positions to do other things and not stay in one position just a great place to work

    Not sure yet haven't been working there long enough to tell cons yet but when I do you will be the very First to know

    Pros

    They provide ongoing job training and encourage employees to explore new opportunities within the company by promoting and transferring within. Where you start is not where you are stuck.

    Cons

    Depending on which contract you're with, work/life balance is difficult. Expectations can be exhausting and there is not always flexibility. Many times it feels like they are more concerned with keeping the client happy than its employees.

    Advice to Management

    Maintain flexibility and trust your manager-level employees to provide the service standard expected. Understand they have the best interest of the company in mind and allow them to make judgments based on their knowledge of their individual account. If you're employees are happy, the client will be happy.

    I worked at Compass Group USA full-time

    Pros

    Unlimited upward mobility. I was offered a promotion after just 3 months there. So you can move up quickly but it is tedious work.

    Cons

    Long and tiring hours. Manual labor for the most part. Maybe because it was in an airport, either way you'll have no time for a personal life.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more part-time workers to alleviate the work load of full time workers. Over time should be OPTIONAL but it felt mandatory most of the time.

    Pros

    not much.. was properly paying me without delays and that's about it.

    Cons

    Uniforms took 2 months to be distributed, pay stubs were not being provided on time, even missing, no proper starting employee training (didn't care), cutting hours too much.

    Advice to Management

    Leadership comes starts with sacrificing. There was no leadership here because
    no one here wanted to sacrifice. Nobody wanted to sacrifice because nobody appreciated it.

    diverse staffs, culture, possibility of wearing many hats at the same time.

    Cons

    Depends on account managers perspective how works will be, not much room for growth in other fields than culinary employees.

    Please think about Human resources. Your company is fully relying on people services. If your employees are not happy, your service can't get better.
