    I worked at Competence Call Center full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    Building and accommodations are fine. Modern environment and free snacks. Located close to city center. Nice multicultural environment. Decent pay. Depending on the language.

    Cons

    Rotating shifts and working weekends can get very exhausting and there was no guarantee of having to consecutive days weekend in a row. Managers without experience make it impossible to effectively raise complaints or improve the situation

    Advice to Management

    Make sure the people you appoint to manager positions are actually competent or at least have some experience.

    I have been working at Competence Call Center full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Internacional enviroment and salary above the Barcelona average for a position that doesnt require previous qualification

    Cons

    Bad administration, rotating shifts including at dawn, work on weekends, 8 days working straight. there is no kind of human treatment on the part of management. people get exhausted after a few months of work which is leading to great discontent by almost everyone. It is not a kind of place to be for a long period of time.

    A good International mix of people with a wide range of backgrounds.

    Cons

    For an entry-level candidate with little or no experience and with no desire to advance or make a difference. Constant biweekly rotations of morning, afternoon & overnight shifts. Bad internal communication. Inexperienced management.

    Management requires a complete overhaul as management and supervisor positions are generally occupied by people with little or no management knowledge and skills . Improve internal communication & contact with employees. Value productive and talented employees.

    I have been working at Competence Call Center full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Fixed working hours. Extras only with employee's agreement. Facilities include kitchen. Fruits, juices are offered. Sometimes charity events or internal competitions which are good for the organizational culture.

    Cons

    Not sufficient time for a proper lunch break. Work extremely demanding. Payment could be better compared to amount of work.

    Advice to Management

    Regular feed back training to be given besides the initial training. More substantial incentives for best performing agent.

    Not much to say here. Paycheck is good, when it arrives correct and on time.

    Cons

    I don't know where to start with! You must ask your team manager if you need to go to the toilet or drink water. Yes, they restrict your access to drinking water. Lunch breaks are so short that we can't eat a proper meal. Some employees skip eating. Others try to eat asap but then end up throwing up their meals afterwords (yesterday, I've witnessed 2 of them).
