    I have been working at Competence Call Center full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Fixed working hours. Extras only with employee's agreement. Facilities include kitchen. Fruits, juices are offered. Sometimes charity events or internal competitions which are good for the organizational culture.

    Cons

    Not sufficient time for a proper lunch break. Work extremely demanding. Payment could be better compared to amount of work.

    Advice to Management

    Regular feed back training to be given besides the initial training. More substantial incentives for best performing agent.

    Not much to say here. Paycheck is good, when it arrives correct and on time.

    Cons

    I don't know where to start with! You must ask your team manager if you need to go to the toilet or drink water. Yes, they restrict your access to drinking water. Lunch breaks are so short that we can't eat a proper meal. Some employees skip eating. Others try to eat asap but then end up throwing up their meals afterwords (yesterday, I've witnessed 2 of them).     There is literally no space here for the list: stressful media content on daily basis, no breaks allowed (just a toilet break for the day but you have to be quick), lots of "managers" (made on the job because educations is obviously not necessary these days), new colleagues every couple of weeks ("hire to fire" approach), according to the management the project is great and growing but the number of employees is going...

    I cannot give any advice to the management because I don't know who the manager will be on the day this review is published. And by the time they read it some new changes might be coming. Just one general advice - do not be scared to read more and educate yourself.

    Salary, Reps, mutua, Restaurant Ticket

    Cons

    Desorganized, 7 days working in a roll, no flexibility to swap shifts, 1 month avarage to answer your holiday request. Markets salaries way too different. Management request high quality while training process and material support is inefficient, a mess. Management doesn’t improve process while giving warranties to employees to accomplish quality.

    Blocking employees to ask questions or give warranties to employees is not going to improve your quality and make you fell better with your client. Improve yourself to point the process mistakes that are many and I’m sure quality is going to improve and you won’t be afraid to loose your client. Employees are the best you can have, they are really into learn and improve but the way things works during the communication...

    Vacation can be tricky to apply for, often denied and some kind of restricted, but that's a small "price" to pay since everything else is working very well. As long as you are flexible regarding times to take the vacation, this is not a problem. It's actually the best place I've worked at in Barcelona. I do not really have any cons working here at the moment as I'm very satisfied. The only thing that can be a bit "hard"...
