I worked at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart, well-educated colleagues, opportunity to work with top-notch pharmaceutical companies and their external clinical investigators.

    Cons

Prior top management had a false front of cooperating willingly with transfer applications within the larger company (MediMedia at the time). Anyone who expressed interest in growing skillsets outside of the CHC fold, but within the parent company, was promptly targeted for termination.

    Advice to Management

New management appears to have greatly improved the working environment, and has permitted new titles and recognition that are comparable with industry peers. Prior titles/structure were quite flat.

    Pros

Flexible, work from home, good work environment, friendly co-workers, convenient work location and multiple offices in the area with flexibility to work out of them

    Cons

Disconnect between higher level management and company since being bought out by Icon. Hard to move up, not much room for raises, IT issues.

I have been working at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. full-time

    Pros

Colleagues are great, management is responsive, flex hours help with work-life balance.

    Cons

The squeakiest wheel gets the grease, so if you aren't getting what you need you have to squeak loudly. Since ICON's takeover, a lot of the perks of working for a small company have gone away, and employees feel less valued as a result.

    Advice to Management

Slowly stripping away employee perks has an effect on morale. Get a pulse on employee satisfaction and ask what can be done to improve it.

"Recent New Management is Unstable, Unavailable and Discriminating"

    StarStarStarStarStar

    Pros

This once was a premier place to work

    Cons

    Terrible communication

New management will value and support you only if you are in the inner circle

    Advice to Management

Get out of your outdated comfort zone and trust the people that made the company what it is (or once was). Support those that make a difference, not those that make noise...discrimination is not flattering

"Overall, a good place to work, but upper management is out of touch with lower-level employee dissatisfaction"

I have been working at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary, coworkers, direct-report boss, career advancement opportunities, frequent "fun committee" events, flexible working conditions (work from home as needed), flexible work hours, no cubicles or open work spaces (everyone has an office), dual monitors help with multitasking.

    Cons

2013 bonuses were not paid until mid-June, several employees have been told they would get promotions in Q1, and are still waiting for management to make good on their promises. Growing employee dissatisfaction with each promotion delay. Health insurance is about as minimal as possible. Employer matching of retirement funds (which was already laughably low) was recently rescinded. Computers crash regularly and software is out of date.

    Advice to Management

Promote deserving employees AT THE TIME THAT THEY DESERVE IT. Having a perpetual list of deserving employees who are not being advanced to the level they deserve is frustrating and builds dissent and resentment of upper management. We are hard workers, but wonder why we bother working so hard if it is not recognized.

I worked at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good salary, vacation, sick time policies. Profit sharing and bonus pay were incredible perks. Co-workers overall were a pleasure to work with and the 360 reviews were accurate. When the company was privately held the overall environment and attitude were very good.

    Cons

Promotions of people based on letters after name, held other exemplary employees back for unexplained reasons. Office politics at its worse at this company. Once company was sold to conglomerate, insurance benefits declined significantly, layoffs occurred (never an issue prior to sale), and nonsensical promotions.

    Advice to Management

Promote people based on performance not politics.

I have been working at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I feel so appreciated, encouraged, and valued. Upper management is very open about monthly earnings and gives detailed information on how to leverage business for next month and keep the company moving forward. I completely understand the connection between our hard work and how that impacts our individual bonuses next year.

    Cons

Pay could be slightly higher in year one.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. There is open communication and a great culture.

I have been working at Complete Healthcare Communications, Inc. part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive Salary; relaxed and fun work environment; the company involves the interesting subject material; personal/two person offices... its a pretty nice spot except for its location!!

    Cons

its in Chadds Ford and Yardley... that is, its way out of the way of anywhere that is relevant. Other than that, my experience has been all peaches

    Advice to Management

pay more... give bonuses more often -- things of that sort. Free lunches would be nice too. And better communication/direction from upper management.
