I have been working at Compliance Search full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great company with wonderful people. They work very hard to take care of their candidates and clients.

    Cons

None. I think they run a top business, and should be proud.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

Small company so you can get your hands into everything.

Micromanaging by management everyday can get overwhelming

I worked at Compliance Search (Less than a year)

    Pros

off a lot of holidays, casual attire in office, able to work from home sometimes

    Cons

horrible management, given a lot of work to get done everyday but never compensated for it. no raises, no bonuses, no recognition that they appreciate you or that you are doing a good job. absolutely no room to grow within the company that is about 8-9 people

    Advice to Management

learn how to treat your employees with respect and also learn how to run a business correctly. do not send someones resume to a company without speaking to the candidate first- because they might not even be interested in the job!

I have been working at Compliance Search (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to start for office experience. Lots of young new faces coming in with different talent. You connect with people all over the globe so you grow lots of great relationships with different people in the Wall Street, compliance, banking, investment, and hedge fund Industry

    Cons

There is no advancement at this job. The job sounds great when it is being explained as to what your role will be, but when you actually start working, it is a whole different field.

    Pros

Improved some skills, including cold-calling and writing. Some staff members were very helpful and friendly.

    Cons

Management was passive aggressive and unclear about feedback and instructions. Bullying from management to other senior staff was observed. Repetitive, insignificant tasks were assigned consistently.
