    Cons

Anyone, I mean anyone, can just be a supervisor. Plenty room to get promoted, however those who have been in the company for a long time are neglected and people who have just started are already promoted. Needs a bit of structure.

I worked at Comprehensive Health Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pay, the pay and the pay

    Cons

Bullying is encouraged because laws are weak and prosecution is a long process. Bullies are rewarded by promotions and "gift cards" given by GP. The acronym GRIT, used by the company to promote their philosophy. I liked my job, I brought accounts within budget and on time, but the powers that be gave it to someone who drove the account in the ground. It's a shame

I have been working at Comprehensive Health Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Fast paced company that keeps you busy. I joined CHSi 15 years ago as a contractor for one of their first big contracts and CHSi has given me the opportunity to advance into a leadership position in the company. The company has gone through many changes and some rough spots through national financial crises, but two things have remained constant. Growth and Evolution. The company has had almost continuous growth and has evolved to meet the challenges of that growth.

Is it perfect? No... No company is. CHSi is a company with a mission to provide value program solutions to our customers and save lives. We support our nation through missions in the US and abroad, we highly value veterans, and we care about all our employees.

We are a hard charging, fast-moving, an adaptable company that is mission oriented and believes that there is no mountain high enough for us to climb.

We believe this because of our values are G.R.I.T.T - Graciousness, Responsiveness, Integrity, Transparency, and Teamwork.

If you want easy... this may not be the company for you. If you want a challenge, a flexible, friendly environment and believe that hard work leads to opportunity... then CHSi is for you. I have witnessed it.

    Cons

Like I said... No company is perfect. Leadership cares about the company the mission and the employees of this company. The employees make the company.

    Advice to Management

    Continue the assault.

    Pros

    Pay is good.
There are some good people that are working there who really try to help the children.
Just remember, for every evil person out there, there are ten good people that need help. Try your best to help the kids until you get another job.

    Cons

Completely chaotic. Upper management has absolutely no idea what they are doing. When something goes wrong, management will look to fire anyone they can blame in order to save themselves. They treat their employees very badly. Working conditions are very poor, not enough computers, not enough desks, not enough chairs, bathrooms don't work, and water drips off the ceiling. Mold in the walls and ceiling.

    Advice to Management

Try to find directors and supervisors that have experience. Try not to put people who have never had a job or never had a job in the field as top directors. The COO and upper management need to protect their employees from the horrible treatment by the people running that shelter.
