I have been working at CompuCom full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company is working very hard to ensure that customers are the top priority. New CEO has put in 4 strategic pillars: Customer First, Share of Wallet (with innovation), Growth in Verticals (retail, finance, life sciences), and playing to win. Smart moves with expansion into Internet of Things by acquisition of players with success, going full in on Small Businesses with Tech-Zone concept providing manage services at scales. Best and only W2 workforce in North America.

    Cons

Very decentralized, however, there is a new Corporate HQ under construction that looks amazing and will create many more jobs. Will have state of the art everything!

    Advice to Management

Continue to build a culture - Love the early view of Made Possible By. Remember to celebrate the wins, even if they are small. People want to feel good about what they do everyday. Winning and a winning mentality is key.

I have been working at CompuCom full-time

    Pros

Lots of interesting challenges to tackle and opportunities if you perform.
Company strategy is communicated clearly and often.
CompuCom's clients include some of the largest companies in North America.
Great new state of the art Corporate Headquarters opens in December 2017.
CompuCom Cares Day - one day a year you can volunteer - fully paid.
Highly visible and accessible CEO. He communicates often.

    Cons

Organizational pace can sometimes feel slow when you need/want to move fast.
    Company insurance is really basic.

    Advice to Management

Continue focus on culture and the aspects of it that come natural like customer service and integrity. Encourage collaboration. Continue to improve internal communication. Keep us on strategy and don't allow us to go off course and ensure priorities are clear.

I have been working at CompuCom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people with a passion for customer service and integrity. Many opportunities to grow and try new things. Good commitment and capabilities to learn and extend knowledge.

    Cons

Industry and CEO change have been difficult. Communications have suffered over last few years, yet a direction closer to the future of IT has emerged which will benefit employees and customers.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more. Hold mid-level management accountable. Do even more building and career development. Create a chief people officer and strive to become top 100 places to work.

I have been working at CompuCom full-time

    Pros

Collaborative environment with aggressive client solutions. Continually looking outside the legacy delivery models to develop new, evolved ways of delivering service to new and old clients.

    Cons

Not progressive in logical compensation of Associates. Would rather take a risk at hiring from outside at a greater rate, than promote internally to a commensurate pay rate. "There isn't a button for that percentage increase...therefore it can't be done."

    Advice to Management

Very progressive in many areas...except pay and career planning. Take a look at it. You could likely increase your loyalty and top tier Associate retention.
