    Pros

    My coworkers... That is it.

    Cons

Amazing how similar these "Positive Reviews" read, isn't it? Almost as though the same three or four people (Probably from HR, Management office or Marketing) wrote them. Same bullet points, same targeted action items. Impressive. Too bad they don't mention anything about No Cost Of Living raises, or any financial rewarding even to Top Performers - Let alone in ears, try in over a Decade. Oh and the part that the CEO has been replaced 4 times in less then two years - Forgot about that when mentioning 'Win/Win'. I just hope those writing these fake reviews at least got a lunch.
    Read this well:

    1. No raises or praise EVER
    2. For a Company this size Benefits are poor.
    3. HERPA Certifications are for your HR and Benefits Staff, not EVERYONE, get it?
    4. Endlessly documenting justification of your job. Claim its for matrices. If you can't price out your contracts accurately after 15 years, maybe you should look for another industry.
    5. Customers are questioning your Commitment to Quality.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing that can be suggested to Management. I know they've be told time and time again about the systemic, structural issues that plague this company for years. There is a conscience effort to place barriers between Management and those in the field. Repeating the same mistakes over and over again expecting a different result is a sign of insanity. Moral among your employees is DISMAL. That is a fact. But its doubtful you care.

I have been working at CompuCom full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I work in the corporate offices in the Charlotte, NC area, alongside many of the C-Level executives. Compucom is undergoing a transformation as we move into the digital era and assist our customers in doing the same. There is a real effort underway to help all CompuCom employees understand the true importance of their jobs and how our work impacts our customers. There is a strong focus on innovation and bringing real value to our customers, which are some of the longest relationships in the industry at 15 years. We are leaders in our market and CompuCom is defining best practices in workforce enablement.

    Cons

There is a fair amount of change as we undergo a transformation. We haven't done a good job of communicating strategy to all employees, and as a result you get field technicians that are quite removed from the overall strategy of the company and may get caught up local politics.

    Advice to Management

You have periodic 'managers meetings' but it's important for all CompuCom employees to hear from senior leadership - open the channel of communications wider.

    Pros

Generous Personal Time Off - Can't use it all though.

    Cons

    - No raises .... ever
    - No recognition .... ever
    - No communication from management.....ever (unless you screw up, or perceived to have screwed up, then they will call you as if your house is on fire.)
    - Mediocre benefits for a company of this size and (supposed) status. (I've worked at companies not even 50% Compcom's size and it was more than fair.
    - Long time employees are getting tired of hearing the reasons for not getting a raise is "We don't have the money." Oh, nice new office space you have there, just after you got done renovating the old nasty one.

    Advice to Management

    Your employees aren't stupid.

    I worked at CompuCom full-time

    Pros

Not many I can think of at all.

    Cons

IT management have no clue what they are doing. Brought in some young guy that thinks he knows it all and he doesn't. Also the benefits aren't good. If someone resigns they take away all your PTO even thought they expect you to work a lot of hours with no time off. People take all their PTO then come into the office and resign and walk out. If you are going to treat the employees like garbage what do you expect.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the workers that have knowledge and at least hear them. Treat them with respect as they are the hard working people that make the company go so you can collect your bug fat paychecks. Improve benefits as the working stiffs can't afford all that upper management can.

    Pros

Positive, collegial culture. IT outsourcing and transformation is a very good space to be in. Leadership has the right plans and strategy in place and is turning the ship.

    Cons

Company has to step up to new challenges in IT - not everyone is happy to change.

    Advice to Management

Keep pushing. Success and sales raise all boats.
