I worked at CompuCredit full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked there for 2 years after the buyout of Providian Financial. I was in the collections department as a manager and had a lot of opportunity to grow and develop. Great management and drive. Stay on your toes!

    Cons

Not all ideas made it to the top - even great ones that I believe could have been game changers. Typical politics as in any big corporate gig.

    Advice to Management

Stay close to front line employees.

    Pros

It provided with a stable job for 9 years. I did not have any plans to leave.

    Cons

The benefits package could have been better as far as paid time off and sick leave. I didn't like them being rolled in to one package.

Flat organization - low level of redundancy... tough wehen the one-of-one moves on...

    Advice to Management

Work hard to strike the right balance between individual empowerment and functional redundancy
