I have been working at Compufit full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Compufit gives immersive exposure to cutting-edge technologies to all employees starting on day one. They provide no-cost options for training on the most in-demand technologies and encourage and reward people who get certifications. Compufit promotes from within. Some of the highest level managers and most senior engineers started as entry-level people. Promotions aren't uncommon. If you work there for 3 years...

    Cons

The intensity and the focus on client happiness can be stressful. Many engineers find themselves going to 10-20 clients over the course of a few months and the pace can be overwhelming There is no "easy job" at Compufit. Everyone is pushed to grow and to work hard every day. The hours aren't long, but the work is high-intensity all day.

    Advice to Management

Don't become complacent and don't settle.

I have been working at Compufit full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Company has kept their open door policy while growing and creating a new structure. I can walk into my managers office or even a member of the management team to discuss issues and the company in general. Opportunities to grow are expanding exponentially. Many of my colleagues have received promotions since they started. I think the expanded management have increased staff’s voice. Growth is pushing the team...

    Cons

Would like to see more mentoring opportunities at all levels. Growth can be stressful, be mindful of that as we grow and add responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Keep the focus on what is needed to grow but please don’t forget who we (Compufit) are and how we have been able to support this growth. Focus on our team-centric approach as we grow.

Jeans Friday, opportunity to learn new technologies, in house HR dept.

    Cons

    I worked at Compufit

    Pros

Nice offices in NY location in Westchester County.

    Cons

Too many personalities to deal with in this place and for the most part, they all think they're special. I've been at better companies.

    Advice to Management

    Get less egotistical people.

    I worked at Compufit

    Pros

Environment seems professional. Team members are capable and keep clients' systems working by handling issues as they arise, being flexible to daily changes is service schedule, working together and communicating frequently.

    Cons

Management is scrambled, indecisive, ambiguous. Lost all credibility for company leaders. The engineers keep the clients functioning and are saving the company; however, the engineers go unappreciated by the mgmt and by clients. For a company with 20 employees or more, Compufit is run by crisis, and mgmt is always is survival mode. They take two weeks or more to respond to internal emails, and employees and team members...

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Compufit full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

The employees in the firm are very kind and mostly get along. Everyone says hi to each other every morning (something I'm not use to in NY). The firm is good with implementing client infrastructures for very small clients with 20 users or less.

    Cons

Management will act kindly but its a front. Their business plan is not straight forward. Management will not pay train their engineers in any advanced fields. The technology is behind the times and the industries best practice is non existent. Most of the clients have problems with the systems they implement. The firm has major design and configuration problems with implementing systems for clients of 20 users or more....
