    Pros

    Advice to Management

Kernwaarden daadwerkelijk toepassen, luisteren naar de mensen die een klacht hebben in plaats van onderuit halen en stoppen met lucht verkopen.

    Pros

    Great training, great people.

A great place to learn your trade and really try to push you to do well.

    Cons

    Micromanagement

I had an amazing manager when i first started in the team. Things where going fantastically until one of the business managers from another office returned from a sabbatical. He is power mad. Dont get me wrong hes a fantastic recruiter and deserves to be in the position he is in, but he does not know how to get the best out of people. Great socially but in work hes just a nightmare. Constantly questioning where you are up to, asking if you have done the basics, and degrading your work.

    Alot of office politics:-

Someone is always getting someone in trouble, backstabbing and name calling is all part of the environment.

Drugs. They have a huge drug problem. Consultants and manager take drugs all the time. After leaving work on a wednesday evening they would go for a few drinks and before you know they would all be off their faces on drugs.

Negative environment. Constantly having meetings to lift the moral of the team, trying to change the way the office is, offering incentives. it usually last 24 hours before its back to how it was.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect, it's not about the dark art of recruitment anymore. It needs to be more service driven. Micromanagement has to stop.

    Pros

Mark Kelly is the an absolute god send to the office. He genuinely cares about everybody in there, and is super passionate about recruitment and growing out companies. He is the best thing to happen to SThree, and puts a smile on everyones face in the morning.

    Holiday incentives are good

    Cons

Majority of the staff in there are unbelievably miserable and itching to get out of there but are stuck in a cycle of manipulation by management.

You are made feel guilty if you aren't working the 12-14 hour days.

Management are completely immoral, use bullying tactics, making their team feel undervalued, hopeless and unbelievably small infront of colleagues.

You're every move is watched and noted, if you go to the bathroom frequently it gets brought up, if you check your phone really quickly, it's mentioned later in a meeting (you will have one to one meetings about everything, like you are back in school and put into a "Special" class) , you literally can't breathe without management having something negative to say about it.

No encouragement to their staff other than YOU CAN MAKE LOTS OF MONEY..... if you work 80 hours a week and do incredibly unethical things to get there.

Yes the potential is there to make a decent living, however if you work out how many hours you are putting in, you are barely making minimum wage.

You burn out from the stress, and they just don't care, so the churn in there is disgraceful and doing nothing to combat it.

Management and "top billers" into that wolf of wall street "party" culture, and if you don't part take in that kind of partying , you're not going to get very far within the company.

You have to lie to candidates and clients alot, and have to feel comfortable doing so.

You will regularly get pulled up on stuff your doing wrong, issues infront of the whole floor, which is ultimately mortifying.

Being forced to stay late to man the phones, during your lunch break too....

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your staff like kids
Focus on peoples key strengths and stop expecting people to be good at everything.

You recruit for tech companies, behave like a tech company instead of a corporate slime hellhole, casual clothes, cold calling companies etc. Restructure your management, you have monkeys there dictating your teams and abusing them.. breaking them down... they add no value whatsoever
