I worked at Computer Futures Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Computer Futures is a great place to grow a career in recruitment - it's up to the individual to make it happen Strong training programme both on the job and classroom focused training Excellent prospects to make good money - if you work hard and smart and build up a good client base you can definitely make good money Great people in the office with a lot of energy - a really enjoyable group to work with ...

    Cons

In a highly driven environment, decisions can sometimes be made to benefit the company more than the customer At times, there can be an almost school-like approach/attitude to processes and people Lack of flexibility on KPIs as the market changes. There is some, but focusing too much on numbers can lead to a lack of quality. Quite hierarchical - your level dictates a lot and it's something which can be improved

    Advice to Management

Keep working on the customer focused approach and adapt the work of individuals to match that approach. Continue to work on improving the office environment and culture - it has improved over the months recently. Get hands on and lead from the front - the best way for people to learn is from managers who have had success in that area. Managers became managers by being successful at billing and working with customers...

I have been working at Computer Futures Solutions full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Clear career paths Reachable targets Good fixed salary. Good Commission. Over all a Company with Young professionals flat hierarchies and a good atmosphere

    Cons

Ofcourse not for everyone due to the pressure on performance. Deals are important in this business and that is something you ofcourse feel. first months are the most stressful Before you come into the business.

    Advice to Management

Higher management are very many of them old recruiters themselves. that shows that good career opportunities are not only something this Company are talking about but that it is also the reality.

I worked at Computer Futures Solutions

    Pros

Great training, great people. A great place to learn your trade and really try to push you to do well.

    Cons

Micromanagement I had an amazing manager when i first started in the team. Things where going fantastically until one of the business managers from another office returned from a sabbatical. He is power mad. Dont get me wrong hes a fantastic recruiter and deserves to be in the position he is in, but he does not know how to get the best out of people. Great socially but in work hes just a nightmare. Constantly questioning...

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect, it's not about the dark art of recruitment anymore. It needs to be more service driven. Micromanagement has to stop.

    Pros

Mark Kelly is the an absolute god send to the office. He genuinely cares about everybody in there, and is super passionate about recruitment and growing out companies. He is the best thing to happen to SThree, and puts a smile on everyones face in the morning. Holiday incentives are good

    Cons

Majority of the staff in there are unbelievably miserable and itching to get out of there but are stuck in a cycle of manipulation by management. You are made feel guilty if you aren't working the 12-14 hour days. Management are completely immoral, use bullying tactics, making their team feel undervalued, hopeless and unbelievably small infront of colleagues. You're every move is watched and noted, if you go...

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your staff like kids Focus on peoples key strengths and stop expecting people to be good at everything. You recruit for tech companies, behave like a tech company instead of a corporate slime hellhole, casual clothes, cold calling companies etc. Restructure your management, you have monkeys there dictating your teams and abusing them.. breaking them down... they add no value whatsoever

Great place to be if you have an honest approach & understand the importance of hard work. Career development, supportive management, meritocracy

    Cons

To get the most out of it you must put the hours in, direction from the top & enduring there is reinvestment in teams.

    Pros

Good benefits package, they offer big holiday incentives, it's a great stepping stone to get an education in recruitment

    Cons

Problem with bullying atmosphere, a lot of favouritism and boys club mentality, poor salaries. You're very much a number here and it's all a bit superficial so my advice, look around there's far better companies out there.
