I worked at Comviva Technology full-time

    Pros

Good learning, expanding at a good rate, very good for developers

    Cons

Bad management, very hectic for some teams

    Advice to Management

Hire project managers or consultants. A person who has 20 years of developing experience cant be good managers unless they know the project management techniques well.

You have to do much and Much better to grow in market, people are working great at ground level, it's the higher level people who aren't working

  10. "Good for beginners but work life balance is an issue. Tech/product knowledge at lead and manager level is pathetic."

    Pros

Good learning for freshers, especially if in the core product team. People at engineer and senior engineer level are quite helpful.

    Cons

Technical leads are useless, especially in the delivery teams. Managers seem to be overburdened by handling multiple accounts and hence work gets trickled down to lead level which in turn leads to more burden at engineer and senior engineer level. Learning opportunities are there but usually they are crushed due to urgent client deliverables and that happens due to improper resource management by leads and managers.
Increments are not happening, along with promotions.
Since leads are useless, hence a lot of politics happens as they need to show themselves as 'very useful' inspite of being useless.
Domestic travel expenses are very poor, hardly covers your day meals.

    Advice to Management

Hire people at lead level with good tech knowledge. Hire managers who care more about the team and appreciate their efforts and hardwork, rather than who are just after to get money from client.
