    Pros

    Excellent training, ability to change jobs every 2 years

    Cons

    Working with the union can be difficult, but is necessary to make higher pay

    Relaxed, laid back culture where there's not a lot of stress. Everyone is friendly and you almost always feel welcome

    Cons

    Kind of slow, and you don't always feel like you're getting a lot done. A lot of the technology is behind on the times.

    Look to hire more ambitious people.

    I have been working at Con Edison full-time

    Pros

    Job security is almost guaranteed, and one of the few companies that still offers a form of a pension plan.

    Cons

    Low bonus opportunity and promotions are often not accompanied by salary increases. Very few perks outside of free museums entrance.

    Advice to Management

    Company treats all employees like it does the union employees, which means very strict rules and a lack of trust.
