    Pros

Great for the terminal you hired in at.

When you transfer to another terminal, you should not be able to transfer back with full seniority.

    Pros

Con-way was a great place to work. The benefits and advancement opportunities were awesome. They allowed managers the freedom to make decision that impacted the business while providing support.

    Cons

Over the years the size of corporate administration had grown. It seemed to be top heavy. This effects the bottom line (profit).

    Advice to Management

Continue to drive efficiencies and growth. Take care of your most valuable asset, the people. Never stop trying to improve yourself and the people around you.

I worked at Con-way Freight full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Awesome company to get started with as far as logistics is concerned. There were several opportunities for me to grow and learn new things and programs.

    Cons

In order to rise within the ranks, you have to be willing to not only relocate but work late nights or the overnight shifts. However, if you are a single person that is okay with travel and relocation, this is perfect.

    Advice to Management

Nothing really. Keep offering opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
