    Pros

First and foremost, ConVista is focused on its culture. From top down, management is focused on the development of its employees, including interns. Second, the company has a clear strategic vision for its future and has allowed me the opportunity to both sit in on strategic discussions and work in different areas of the implementation of that strategy. Finally, since my start with the company, Top level management has made sure I fully understand the business and its vision and given me meaningful work during my time with the company.

    Cons

No cons during my time with the company. Very exciting time to be with the company and management is always focused on its employees and company's future.

    Advice to Management

Keep up great work! Strategic vision and focus on employees will continue to benefit the company.

I have been working at ConVista Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work/Life Balance is good
Casual dress, but at the end of the day who cares
    People are friendly

    Cons

    - Lack of good/skilled leaders.
    - Company policies are not clearly defined and communicated to its employees.
    - Management brings in a lot of family and friends- Favoritism is very much visible
    - The work is extremely repetitive. People motivation and engagement is extremely low.
    - Line managers are not properly trained. Work is not evenly distributed.
    - Little opportunity to move up the corporate ladder unless having good personal relationship with the directors. If you are happy doing nothing or the same things day after day, well then ConVista India is the best place for you.

    Advice to Management

Look at the list of cons and try to fix it.

I worked at ConVista Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working with skilled EU colleagues were more professional.
EU management invests on people for upscaling their people's skillset.
EU puts more value on people who can do the work

    Cons

    - Working the Indian colleagues were chaotic, messy, politically stupid. SAP Professionals know when to involve the right people at the right time
    - In my 15+SAP Consulting practice, I had the most horrible project experiences from this company whereby people are only asking for work documentations and then purposely cutting off your connection to the system in the middle of the project so they can report to the management that I cannot deliver the work.
    - Unprofessional and unethical behaviour of Indian Managing Director by simply using his post to impose his duties, responsibilities to this subordinates.
    - Colleagues who stayed in the company longer tend to bully newer colleagues, it seems it is the rule of thumb in this company

    Advice to Management

Choose wisely the people who will manage the subsidiary. Knowing that this is multi-cultural environment, they should have consider ways of working can be different and should remain the respect for each other. Consultants specially the Management should remain positive and respect with each other.
Also, they should know that the skillset of the people well, not to be pushy to them. Some Consultants simply know when to involve people into the project

    Pros

Great place to learn a lot, great place to utilize one's potential, it is very close to a lifetime employer.

    Cons

Only if you can tolerate a lot of travel and deadlines, as it is very usual in the consulting business.

    Advice to Management

It is a global company now, but sometimes it is very frustrating that some of the local offices are quite a different world compared to the main offices.
