    -ConAgra has a great culture at each facility
    -Employees are very invested in their work and want to stay
    -Retirement and salaries are above average
    -Upper Management knows how to drive engagement

    Cons

    -Corporate based employees are not always willing to share information with plant based employees
    -The separation between brands can cause issues with alignment from the top down

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you’re doing and continue striving to keep the best talent in house and attract more!

    P&L Accountability right from the get go. My role had tons of flexibility and opportunities to innovate.

    Cons

    Company can be a bit disorganized, especially when it comes to people matters. There is also a lack of job security, as shown by the frequent, regular layoffs.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your people and pay close attention to culture. Also, reach out to understand what are the greatest motivators and de-motivators.

    Pros

    I was lucky to have great bosses at ConAgra Foods. That can make a huge difference. They did pay a good salary when I was there and great benefits - vacation, 401K, bonus, etc.

    Cons

    They changed and not for the better when it comes to employment. They thought it was better to pay younger people less and not keep their loyal employee base. From what I hear, that has been a challenge for them.

    You can prioritize people and grow your business at the same time.
