I worked at Conagra Brands full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Where I worked was on the verge of shutting down, and still is to this day. But the work wasn't that hard, and it paid the best in my area. If you don't mind putting in all of the hours, and not having much of a home life (wife and kids), then this place is definitely for you. And the benefits are wonderful too!

    Cons

Poor management and supervisors. Unfortunately, they care more about numbers than anything, and most of the people who have been there for decades suffer for it, because of poor decision making, having to pick up the slack and finish first shift's job, plus get theirs done. They are a Union company, and violate so many union rules and policies on a regular basis that it's ridiculous, however it's more of a hassle to get anything done about it so most of those people just hold their tongue, complain about it, and let it keep happening. And they cut a lot of corners to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

Show a little more concern for the employee's psyche. At the same time, make better decisions in who you hire, and for those who are trying to make an honest living, give them the appreciation they deserve.

    Pros

The people are simply the best. Everyone is very friendly and easy to work with. The environment is fun and enjoyable.

    Cons

The organization's hand is being forced by the overall industry to be a leaner organization. Which has led to jobs being cut, and an uneasy environment.

    Advice to Management

Keep the all inclusive environment alive. It was awesome working in an environment where I knew everyone was accepted regardless or race, religion, or creed.
