Challenging and supportive company with an innovative approach.

      Pros

The people, the ideas, the challenge to disrupt the way organisations design, analyse and monitor their organisations. Supportive leaders who balance employee development with performance targets. Highly collaborative and fairly flat structure.

      Cons

Aspects of start up mode as product is ramped up and global presence expands. Must embrace some ambiguity to be successful.

      Job Responsibilities Change Daily

      Pros

The company has a lot of young talent. The benefits package is excellent (401k match, 25 days vacation, 100% medical benefits paid)

      Cons

Job responsibilities change daily. The software platform has several bugs that need to be worked out. The managers don't have much experience managing people from different backgrounds. If you don't have a management consulting background, don't work here. A lot of people that get promoted are related to someone else at the company. Stock options are given to favorite employees and not based on roles or management levels. A game of thrones environment.

      Great Company

      Pros

Work/Life Balance, vacation time, benefits, a personable CEO who cares about his employees and works incredibly hard to ensure his employees are looked after while maintaining company success

      Cons

Working as a global company reporting on different continents on a daily basis to complete work functions can be difficult.

Not suited for women, people with young families or work/life balance.

      Pros

There were a handful of people I liked working with. And these people were very understanding and supportive.

      Cons

Very unclear on expectations, little structure plus being understaffed made it very challenging to settle into the role I was hired for. Sold as a 'diamond' but ended up really being a fake (CZ) kind of workplace. Working long hours and crossover into other roles was just part of the job. Not very well suited or flexible for women with young children. Company claims to be flexible wants women to work there, but it's a Male driven environment, with higher than reasonable expectations.

      Management Consulting Firm

      Pros

Services focused leadership team with deep management consulting experience and associated connections. Competitive base pay and benefits.

      Cons

Lack of diversity (biographically and professional experiences) within the C-Suite. Lack of transparency. Painfully slow/stunted evolution from a MC firm with technology to a SaaS focused company with supportive services. The classic up-or-out/eat your young MC culture persists. Extremely political environment.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review – we really appreciate your time in doing so. As you will see from the date, we have only recently taken on our Glassdoor employer account and started responding to reviews and I didn’t want any of them (no matter how old) to go un-answered. Thank you again Vyckie – Head of People

A company willing to invest in good things but still figuring out what good is (and I’m sure it will)

      Pros

There are lots of people who are pleasant to be around. I was lucky enough to got to work with some exceptionally intelligent and bright individuals. The management’s always striving to be open and transparent - the CEO and business continuity team did an excellent job during the lockdown. I was never afraid of being open and was able to focus on solving the problem instead of finding excuses. Some might say there’s company politics at play (like all other places), but no bureaucracy. The leadership team are approachable and supportive and I enjoyed being able to keep pragmatic working style. There are opportunities to make career transitions internally if you’re proactive and willing to learn. Good support in terms of well-being.

      Cons

Concentra is so close to see overwhelmingly fast growth - it has clear vision and really good talent who can achieve that. It has been growing, but I always felt that it somehow never really fully utilised what it’s got and doesn’t scale fast enough. It may be the leadership or may be the operational excellency, or needs to be more bold and informed in decision-making. It feels like there are a few missing gears in the chain of process and some are misplaced. In a similar vein, on a cultural side, despite the efforts, it didn’t seem to fully grasp what makes diversity in workplace. It celebrates one thing while ignoring the other (e.g. my inbox was mixed with sales comms full of very masculine analogy and lovely pride month newsletters). However, I appreciate that it’s a journey and I wholeheartedly know that Concentra care diversity and inclusion. Not so much of cons.. but just flagging as it seems not a very well recognised fact (as a reason for moving on) within the firm - You would need to have some passion in the domain (i.e. org design and HR tech in general) to keep motivated and take a leading role in the firm.
