I have been working at Concord Advisory Group full-time

    Pros

Analysts gain valuable exposure to various facets of the industry. Formal training program and access to senior management will allow entry level associates to grow their knowledge and skills quickly. Intelligent group of people to work with and most senior associates have a long tenure with the firm. Generous 401(k) (automatic) contribution and education reimbursement.

    Cons

Smaller (but growing) firm size may not fit with certain people.

I worked at Concord Advisory Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Healthcare; Health will decline upon start date so the health coverage is great. Parking.

    Cons

Culture/anti-social culture, subjectivity, misleading interview/expectations, lunch at desk, individualistic. Concord is not looking for long term employees.

    Pros

The people are friendly, the job isn't hard. Benefits are about average for the industry. You learn some and get to give input on the job that you would like to do.

    Cons

The company is very small, so opportunities to move up are limited. Starting salaries are low, and there aren't any bonuses. No advancement in the near future.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more incentive to keep younger workers or the turnover seen in recent years will no doubt continue.
