I worked at Concord Group Insurance (More than 5 years)
Good Service to it's agents, good people to work with; and for.
Lack of resources both systems wise and number of people
As a consultant you land years & years & years of continuity with no end in sight with the company. A big plus if you are a consultant
High Volume of consultants & less turn over rate. Great, again, if you are a consultant.
Most people are nice to work with & offer a very helpful hand if you are new & in the learning process.
Neither stressful nor lack of work in terms of work volume.
Relaxing summer & christmas parties
Very little to no communication with the project heads.
You will never receive an increase or very very little increase post your agreed upon hourly wages, the first time, as a contractor.
Technically less advanced compared to others in the same industry
Ok for your resume
Lack of communication between departments
No job security
High turn over rate
Out of date systems
Out of date management styles
Poor benefit options
Advice to Management
Learn to properly communicate with your employees and update your systems asap
