I worked at Concord University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This was a small university that allowed for close faculty attention and a supportive campus environment. I made connections with faculty and fellow students that helped me when I was applying for grad school.

    Cons

As a small school, Concord lacks numbers for many of their smaller departments. I found myself in independent studies more often than full-size classes as I completed the last classes for my degree.

I worked at Concord University (More than a year)

    Pros

Faculty cohesion. Fellow (faculty & staff) co-workers were convivial and friendly.

    Cons

The administration consists mainly of liars and paper-pushers who are overpaid and are only interested in the bottom line. They care only about retaining students, regardless of their academic quality, since the students pay admin salaries. Academic rigor is a joke as they will accept anyone. There are to many administrators for such a small campus as well.
