Do you enjoy being traumatized and burnt out?

Obviously the brands within the organization are very prestigious and having CN on your resume looks great! The offices are beautiful.
Cons
There is zero work/life balance, management has know idea what they’re doing and constantly pivoting strategies, unclear goals, insufficient resourcing, and rampant discrimination from racism to transphobia. I was regularly expected to work evenings, weekends, and holidays without additional compensation. There is zero morale and the environment is very competitive and cut throat. Pay and benefits are way below industry standard

Pros
A creative company to work for.
Cons
The company needs to compensate employees who work hard and do a good job more often.

This could have been such an amazing journey but

Benefits are pretty comprehensive. It's great that the company offers adoption assistance. Depending upon your team the experience maybe great
Cons
I onboarded into a net new role. I brought a rich history of passion, expertise and operational excellence to CN. Excited to join such as winning brand... I learned very quickly that my team resented me before joining (which was later confirmed by my resentful counterpart). One of my direct reports all but gave me the finger during our first 1 on 1. So much for a CN Welcome! I can only refer to the old culture here as biter, unprofessional, petty and toxic. There are no attempts to weed out the incompetent making life for the talented almost unbearable. I resigned citing unprofessionalism incompetence a "WAR on the Talented"! When I resigned I learned that my accrued vacation could neither be used nor would it be paid out. (I failed to read the fine print in my onboarding package). I was stunned to learn this as it is NOT an industry standard practice. I should not have been surprised.

Pros
Great opportunities to work with interesting talent
Cons
Limited transparency across the company
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Friendly, good work life balance
Cons
Direction of the company is unclear
- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
*Great office space *Middle management is very good and capable
Cons
*Depending on leadership/title, you could have some late nights but because there are hard deadlines, you always know how to plan accordingly. *Not a great sense of company holistically in terms of strategy/transparency as there are silos between titles/departments.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
You work with amazing people and have access to top talent across the world. There is much more support (studios, equipment, team members) than most video teams in the media industry.
Cons
Pay is typically pretty low and raises/promotions happen very rarely. CN is in the process of unionizing, so hopefully that helps. You work a lot, but that's expected at companies like this.
- Current Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
A lot of opportunities to work with many teams and brands.
Cons
Internal processes cause extreme slow down creating a frustrating work environment.
