I have been working at Condé Nast full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Everyone seems to be doing work that should be spread across several people. It's sometimes nice because you can expand your skills outside of your job description.

    Cons

You are expected to handle tasks outside of your job description.

    Advice to Management

Have a better understanding of what employees' jobs descriptions are and recognize when people are going above and beyond them.

    Pros

    You'll work with great people.

    Cons

Very corporate environment and didn't always love working creatively under such a corporate umbrella. CNE hires too few employees so everyone is stretched thin. They keep a lot of people on perma-lance and don't pay them well enough, give benefits, give days off, etc. If you're on staff it's an okay job. If you aren't, it's not.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people because everyone is stretched way too thin.

Think critically about what opportunities exist between entry-level and leadership teams at individual brands
