I have been working at Connective DX full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employees take a lot of pride in their work and actively lead and participate in their professional communities. The bar is set very high. Great team/office environment, the people here are kind and fun. Onsite perks include toastmasters, yoga, massage, a fitness challenge, free breakfast, snacks and kombucha on tap. Top notch benefits (the founders called the top doctors at OHSU to get a recommendation on which health care plan to offer employees). Great community events throughout the year including the SOLVE Spring Beach Clean-up and work with the West Women's and Children's Shelter, Goose Hollow Family Shelter, The Arthritis Foundation, and Rosemary Anderson High School.

    Cons

The company is growing, I hope that we can retain the small company feel and sense of ownership as we evolve.

    Advice to Management

It is inspiring to see that after 19 years the founders and leadership continue to clearly and genuinely have a desire to invest in the company's people. Keep doing what you are doing!

    Cons

I worked at Connective DX full-time

    Pros

Great culture, talented teams, interesting projects. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

Account management sometimes was disconnected or ineffective at dealing with client situations leaving team member to take the brunt of it. You must thrive on sarcasm [could be a plus]. Pay is on the low end.

    Advice to Management

Build up your teams and promote from within.

I worked at Connective DX full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing, smart, talented staff. It really is a family. The leadership cares a lot about work/life balance and they offer a lot of benefits to make their employees happy like free snacks, organic fruit, monthly birthday parties and pizza parties and they always have a gluten free and vegetarian options. They are also big proponets of knowledge sharing through their brownbag lunch series.

    Cons

Similar to what others have said the salaries are low. I doubled my pay by leaving ISITE. Also there is not a lot of upward mobility but I guess that's to be expected in a small company.

    Advice to Management

Give your hardworking staff pay increases.

I have been working at Connective DX full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Love working here, it's like a second family. Great work life balance, interesting and compelling work. Management cares a lot about each and every employee and it shows.

    Cons

Not exactly handing out COL increases. This would benefit morale here a LOT. Seems there's a bit too much focus on hiring management and expansion of the building rather than taking care of their employees financially - despite the great working environment.

    Advice to Management

    Cost of living raises.
    Better review cycles
    Industry pay grades UP

    Pros

Smart people who want to work hard and create beautiful output. The people who I work with are respected in their fields and they truly are the best at what they do. Everyone is good at written communications. Developers can see the impact of what they do on the usability side, and before solving a problem the strategists and designers really get the story of the client.

    Cons

I would like it to be me more of a social atmosphere. Some people are often cold, snarky, and unhelpful.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees more and give feedback, also using that opportunity to find out how to make the company better.
