I worked at Connells part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I had the pleasure of working with a really welcoming branch.

    Cons

The company itself did not appear to value all their employees, just a select few.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate everyone who is doing their job well, not just those higher up in the hierarchy.

I worked at Connells for more than 8 years

    Pros

I can honestly think of no pro's for this company. Maybe other areas might be better to work for, but I doubt it!

    Cons

Unprofessional environment. Long working hours with no lunch break (management quote "you won't get far in Connells by taking a lunch break"). Nothing is ever good enough. No praise given where due. Terrible management style. An all round horrible environment to work in in recent years. High turnover of staff. Working atmosphere going further downhill fast. DO NOT WORK THERE!

    Advice to Management

Start treating your staff like people instead of pound signs. Think about work/life balance. Give credit where credit is due!
