    Pros

    Pay is above average. Technology makes work easier. Work life balance is good.

    Cons

    They are confused about who they want to be when they grow up. Management by committee. A bunch of buzzwords. No empowerment. No Leadership. Don't eat their own recipes.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be afraid of smart people.

    Excellent pay and benefits. Generous vacation and sick leave.

    Cons

    Management not in touch or honest in spite of claims of transparency. More concerned with self and crony preservation than staff.

    Advice to Management

    Company is bleeding talent. Get back to management by walking around. Success depends on your employees. Value them.

    No work. Over saturated. Terrible management. No understanding of market conditions or future outlook.

    Pros

    Great benefits, interesting work. When times were good, we had all the resources to get the job done.

    Cons

    Poor upper level management. Managers more for protecting their friends than making sound business decisions. Too many managers.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to reconsider the current structuring of the company, especially at the upper levels.

    political, unethical in certain actions, current environment created aggressive working environment

    monitor middle (directors and supervisors) management. See what value they are really adding to the company and test it.

    Company has good benefits--9/80 work week, pension, 401(k) match, average to slightly low vacation, generous sick time.

    Cons

    The downturn in industry is likely to blame for low morale, aggressive behavior to co-workers, unstable management and concern regarding many areas being over-staffed with no drilling activity.

    It is alright to evolve in the new century where people don't look like you or a younger version of yourself-doesn't mean being different means less qualified to progress here.
