    Pros

Pay is above average. Technology makes work easier. Work life balance is good.

    Cons

They are confused about who they want to be when they grow up. Management by committee. A bunch of buzzwords. No empowerment. No Leadership. Don't eat their own recipes.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid of smart people.

I worked at ConocoPhillips full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good pay, good benefits, good coworkers. Even during the downturn with two rounds of layoffs, the company has treated it's employees well.

    Cons

While oil prices remain low, don't look for much career growth. There were more opportunities before the split between the downstream business (Phillips 66) and the upstream business (ConocoPhillips).
