Great shop and knowledgable technicians. Management makes an effort to improve operations and training.

    Pros

I felt very welcomed and supported by the Sp. Ed. Dept. while I worked there as a Speech language pathologist. The staff was kind and always willing to help each other when needed. My co-workers and supervisors were great to work with, easy to get along with. The distict provided CEUs and staff development relevant to my field of profession and kept us informed of current news, laws, etc. The schools I worked at were well organized. I would have stayed with the district, but needed to move out of town.

    Cons

A lot of paperwork and documentation to do, but that's at any district now

    Pros

Supported by administration. A different experience every day. Always interesting!

    Cons

Pay. Ability to have long term position terminated without notice.

    Advice to Management

When expecting the same performance of a salaried teacher from a long term substitute, I recommend providing them with the same resources as the other faculty members (local drive access, stemscopes, etc)
