I worked at Conservice full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you can do your job well the pay is pretty good for the valley and only needing a HS diploma. Days off are also generous after you have been with the company for more than a year.

    Cons

The job itself is a actually very stressful. A lot of people drop out during training because expectations are high and deadlines are strict so it can be very easy to get run over. In the 2 years that I worked there the company grew very fast and it felt like they weren't prepared to keep up with the growth. Employee workloads kept increasing and the company expected people to meet the same deadlines, but no additional resources were provided. In fact, a lot of their "innovative" solutions actually ended up making the work go a lot slower. The company's quick fix solution was to just increase the pay, but that only benefitted some people and they failed to realize that some people didn't care about the money, they just wanted a job that they enjoyed. Middle management is so swamped doing grunt work that they don't have time to actually manage or help their teams. As a result they develop short fuses and a lot of people complain about not getting along with their leaders. The company does have generous time off and holidays, but work still completely dominates your.life for the first two weeks of every month. It was very difficult to get time off from the first to the 15th and it wasn't uncommon to work weekends and holidays during this time period as well. At the end of the day the thing that made it the most frustrating was that the company encouraged an open door policy but any time you raised concerns higher ups would either say that they will fix it (without giving any plan or updates) or that it used to be a lot worse or other people aren't complaining so you must be an outlier. It truly felt like the company didn't care about burning out its employees because we were all replaceable.

I worked at Conservice part-time for less than a year

    Pros

My teammates were great. They were very helpful when I had questions. Boss was very understanding when I had questions.

    Cons

If you work in billing it is very stressful. It seems like they are gaining clients faster than they can hire people, so many people have an unreasonable workload.

I have been working at Conservice full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The paycheck and health benefits

    Cons

Disorganized, dishonest, full of surprises, poor management, difficult to get time off. The only way to get ahead in this company is if you put your job ahead of your family and your personal health. The time off policy is very strange: your time off renews when you took it off last year. Before that you can’t use your time off for the year. They continually make surprise changes and expect employees to adapt perfectly, immediately. If you want a job where you will work hard and give your all and your employer will never be satisfied, this is it. If you want a job where the rules and standards are constantly changing, this is it. If you want a job where your supervisor sees you as a number, this is it.

I worked at Conservice full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people, ability to climb the ladder, great structure to have team meetings.

    Cons

Depending on the department, management wasn't ideal. I worked in two different departments, one was amazing, fun and supportive. The second was hard, stressful and slightly supportive.

I have been working at Conservice full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good pay for the area Free soda/drinks

    Cons

Insurance is mediocre as far as deductibles (but premiums have stayed the same or gone down for a couple years, company also pays an increasing amount of premiums per year up to 90%) 401K is mediocre Company is moving towards becoming public HR is useless/awful There is definite bias in selecting those who get promoted Time off situation is scarce in the first year of employment Senior Management is made of people who have been there a long time, regardless of their actual leadership/management abilities

I have been working at Conservice full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great people Generally a good team environment Great springboard job Stable job

    Cons

Now managed just by numbers - CEO & CFO don't lead by common sense or consider the human impact Used to be that Conservice tried to do things differently to be a better company - now they're just the same as everyone else Profit sharing is gone
