I have been working at Consulate Health Care part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The residents are wonderful to work with seeing them enter the center and then go through getting therapy and going home well is a rewarding experience.

    Cons

Not making enough salary or getting enough hours to pay my bills.

    Advice to Management

During the period I have been here I have requested more hours and have been looked over when others have been hired in administrative positions I could have easily done

I have been working at Consulate Health Care part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The work is simple and easy to learn, the residents are sweet and genuine loving ppl and also it isn’t really much of a big place so you won’t have to walk as far as you would at a much bigger establishment.

    Cons

Many downsides of working at heritage are the fact that it’s a bit small so there isn’t much space to work with amongst other colleagues sometimes, the pay rate could also be better as well, and the equipment could also be a bit more up to date.

    Advice to Management

I love the work and effort you guys put forth to make sure the company is still afloat and to also ensure that your employees are also well taken care of. I understand that management can only do but so much within their grounds so I appreciate the many things you guys do.

    Pros

DON and ADON are very helpful with a new hire. They want you to succeed.

    Cons

Patient/resident nurse ratio. Hand written MAR.

    Advice to Management

Most are helpful, except for a few.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No upside . Wish I had more to add instead I can’t say anything positive other than that the residents are awesome .

    Cons

I have never worked for a company that was so terrible. Those poor residents ..they can’t keep good professional people. Staffing is unconscionable! One unit has 60 + patients with only one or two CNA that show up to work . So desperate now they have agency aides and LPNS

    Advice to Management

Executive Director is unethical and turns her eye to the problems that exist . Furthermore, any efforts to notify corporate leadership, continue to fall on deaf ears. Federal and State agencies need to clean this up. Praying that change will prevail for the patients who call Envoy /Consulate their HOME .

    Pros

You can literally do a no call, no show and still have your job. You can come in late and no repercussion. Also, you can work as much as you want.

    Cons

You may be the only nurse for 50 patients. A very heavy medpass. The patient try to escape every day and night and you are constantly running after them. You have to work weekends.

    Advice to Management

Try to get to know your workers.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cannot think of one would rate 0 stars if that was option

    Cons

Company expectation of working 24/7 does not align with their mission of work life balance and employees are “disposable” regardless of tenure or title. Lowest paying organization

I have been working at Consulate Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very few of the nurses are good
    Lots of open shifts

    Cons

Most of the aids dont care about their jobs
Most nurses are rude and treat you like crap
Never enough help always short staffed
    Not enough supplys
They dont give raises (even after your 90 days)
They promise you a bonus and you dont get it
They dont appreciate the hard work you do

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat your employees, when you tell them your going to do something do it, you have to realise if it wasn't for the CNA's this place wouldn't still be here and pay your employees better especially the ones you know are busting there butts and sleeping on the job and if you have a hard time finding out who does their jobs ask your residents because they know
