    Cons

Management and Don are unpleasant and disrespectful. Low pay. Understaffed for Nurses and cnas.

You set the environment for the employees, try to make it a pleasant one so your staff isn’t always quitting and in a hurry to leave the building.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The facility is pretty nice and most of the nurses and management are easy to get along with.

    Cons

One of the worst places I have work it was so unorganized always out of supplies and always short handed. Nothing ran smoothly I was always stressed out cause of those 2 things. People were always being stolen from couldn't even take my things inside cause there wasn't enough lockers plus the palmeto bugs were horrible. The shower room on the long term side was always nasty cause other aids didnt clean up after them selves.

    Pros

A pro is that food was decent

    Cons

They don't know how to run a business. They treat their patients like crap and they don't care about them on top of that you are judged by your skin color.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to treat everyone equally and run a business properly.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to meet a lot of friendly residents who have been living there for a while

    Cons

Management/administration sucks. The place is full of snakes and liars. No room for advancement and you will receive no help from employees. The place is old and falling apart. The company is bankrupt and the administration tries to pinch every penny out of the staff and screw them over any way they can.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like you would your family and not like work horses. The almighty dollar is not the only thing that matters in the world.
