I have been working at Consulate Health Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The corporate sphere is a close and positive work environment, and the leadership has a strong, visible, and vocal engagement to the care centers which shows in the results. Leadership are also highly committed to the growth of their staff, which is evident from the myriad promotions many have received as they were given opportunities and the tools to succeed, and have grown their careers and their professional capabilities.

    Cons

The health care benefits are passable, thought to be fair, they have improved over the years, and it's very evident that the company cares and is continuing to seek new ways to improve in this area and others. The overall value proposition and benefits of the company are still very strong and competitive.

    Advice to Management

To continue to share your drive and engagement with the corporate staff and our care centers.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The residents are the only pro. I loved them all. I loved some of my coworkers. Will miss them.

    Cons

Hours 8-5pm ...was not so. Almost never the case. Always being told youre working till 7pm with no notice, you walk in and find out. Understaffed almost daily. Cant get your own work finished. Then being told you will work weekends too just because there is no staff. In the time i worked there i had seen people quit and no one be hired. 7 weeks was enough for me to decide that it wasnt for me. The only way this is for you is if youre a loner and dont mind working 8am-8/9pm two or three days a week and 7 days a week.

    Advice to Management

Retain staff. Stop overworking the people who are already there. Floor nurses are even over worked. You cant operate like that.

I worked at Consulate Health Care full-time

    Pros

It was a job, that is all I can really say is that it was a paying job until something else came along

    Cons

Everything, corporate sucked money out of the buildings and the buildings had little to work with. The buildings were owned by one company and consulate was the mgmt company both had to get there cut before the buildings had any money to operate off of
