I worked at Continental Airlines full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Coworkers were great and a fun environment to work in. The benefits were really good and experience was totally worth it all

    Cons

The customers could be really ugly to you. Could have some extremely early mornings and really long days or extremely late nights

    Pros

My boss was the best person at that company. Many things are happening there but your supervisor will always look out for you and have your best interest at heart.

    Cons

No real cons I can think of besides schedulers messing with you but it never actually happened to me.

    Pros

Glassdoor would not allow me to put the year as far back as 1994. The benefits were great. Especially the ability to travel. The arrangement of time off was easy. The reservation call center was well managed and good advancement opportunities.

    Cons

The lottery of shifts give the lower seniority only night and weekend nights available. If you have children and no support, this job is not going to work. This weeds out the inflexible person...which may have weeded out excellent and loyal people.

    Pros

I really don't know were to start but i guess if I must pick one a that moment I got to visit destination that I had only read about. I also must say I love people all shapes sizes and personalities. Truly I do!

    Cons

Long delays which is to be considered and out of control. Passengers generally walked off understanding. I truly belueve people like and want information.

    Advice to Management

Believe in your people. If you take care of your employees they will without fail will take care of you and will understand.

I worked at Continental Airlines full-time

    Pros

Great place to work. Flexible schedules and good benefits. I worked in a few different departments and everyone was very nice.

    Cons

Moving departments was difficult for newer employees as everything was based on seniority. Pay scales were on the low end of the spectrum.

    Advice to Management

Higher pay to those who really have to work hard, especially when constantly required to work mandatory OT.
    Bring back profit sharing!
