I have been working at Continental full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great company. Fair wages. Spread the pain in bad times instead of cutting heads and give back when good times return

    Cons

Some poor managers. Some can't make decisions, others make them then change their mind

    Advice to Management

Motivate mid-level managers to be leaders and not simply managers or dictators

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Continental full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fast paced, high volume work with multiple customer bases.

    Cons

Most of the people there are unhappy and it shows. It's very hard to be motivated at a company with such a negative employee culture. The basis of most of the production is of the mindset to make everything just good enough to get it out the door as soon as possible. Quality is sacrificed for volume of work. Also, very little room for advancement unless you want to move to China.

    Advice to Management

Put your foot down to maintain quality, and to quit shipping poor product. Why do you think there are so many automotive recalls?

I have been working at Continental

    Pros

The facility is very nice since it is new and well maintained. There is a wellness center which includes a basketball court, sand volleyball court, and a soccer field. The company has fair benefits given the market. Also, the ability to go to a doctor during the day or a dentist without taking time off is also a plus. Telecommunting is also a plus. Flexible Hours, Facility, People, Work Life Balance

    Cons

Senior Management needs to lead and not manage tasks. Provide more feedback. We need to change and adapt to the current conditions of the market and be proactive. Reactive solutions are not very productive and efficient with the given resources.

    Advice to Management

Look at the internal survey results. Take some action and examine the results over time.

I have been working at Continental full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Higher ups often listen to the problems of people working on the ground. They not only listen, but also actively implement changes as per our advice.

    Cons

Lack of human resources creates an environment where stressful overtime is the norm.

    Advice to Management

Get more people on the boat by paying better salaries than competitors and prevent the brain drain.
