    Pros

I joined as a GET freshman and I was given a wonderful training for 2 months in major domains of the company including development, product management, Industrial engineering etc. My post-training job consisted of working for multiple automotive clients and as a result I got exposure in various platforms.

    Cons

Most of the work is on the existing product line and technologies. Innovation is limited unless a particular department takes up a completely new product to develop, which is kind of rare.

    Advice to Management

More Work-integrated learning programs can be initiated through MOUs with different universities.

    Pros

Pay and Benefits, having vacation immediately the 1st year. Employees working together to allow someone to have off considering we have been working 6 days a week for years, and never can get vacation.

    Cons

Management including and most important HR and following thru with importance. Loss of business, Favoritism of management, No follow through or hands on with issues of production quality and problems. Decision making is a all time low for providing a quality air conditioning product. Always have issues with sticky product causing sprains and strains in the work place. Product from rubber suppliers should be scrapped but are made to use any ways and then scrap and going through the entire process making more waste. The Sun Prairie location seriously needs an entire different managing team. This plant USE to be the highest performer. Now we are the lowest. The self esteem of the workers is horrible, they are there for a paycheck and not worried about the product, because the management seems not to care either. Contract is in 2018, It seems like they are running it into the ground to close the doors, unless a change in management happens soon.

    Advice to Management

Would be nice to have communication and management that cares about the Sun Prairie plant. Reconfigure your management and start working as a team instead of against one another. Or I am sorry to say that this location will no longer be here in 2018,.

    Pros

Great benefits and experience with the company. Although working night shift it was near impossible to get any backup from the engineers and management when needed.

    Cons

Terrible communication and way too many employees taking command. Poor teamwork and poor upper management.

    Advice to Management

    COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK!

    Pros

People are great here. You dont get micro managed. You have the freedom to get your stuff done on your own time and by your own means. Competitive wages

    Cons

Not the top of the salary in the area. Brand reconigition not stellar. Have to work 2 years in any position to get promoted regardless of performance

Promote people who deserve it even if they haven't been in the same position or salary grade for 2 years.

    Pros

Great Environment to work in. Really talented and open minded people. As long as you stay in control of your work you will likely transition to a full time position.

    Cons

I don't really have much negative feedback. Continental has a huge portfolio of different technology so once you are in there is always something new to learn.

    Advice to Management

Keep a good and open relationship with your interns. Especially when close to graduation we want to have good communication so that we know where we stand for full time positions
