    Pros

Autonomy - Largely are left to your own devices, though this could equally be considered a 'con' to some.

    Cons

The lack of communication between departments, i.e. sales, marketing, finance, as well as across the overall organization from management and down is obvious. The company is very disorganized as well, and aside from purchasing/partnering with other software, their core products have evolved very little over the last decade.

    Pros

Caring, supportive management. Great work/life balance. Many opportunities to learn new technical skills. Was mostly remote before the pandemic, so has handled the transition to full remote very well.

    Cons

    Financial constraints limit salary headroom.

Young company with passion for helping community financial institutions

Aug 24, 2016 -  in New Haven, CT

    Pros

Continuity is a company with a true mission for saving the community banking industry from a staggering regulatory burden (see bankingcomplianceindex.com for actual statistics). Employees are passionate about this mission and while many are remote, they work hard to collaborate for success.

    Cons

As a growth company, frequent pivots working toward the best methods for addressing this burden, often left staff frustrated and struggling to switch gears. Change is hard, but it's to be expected in a young business.

    Pros

Progressive company with an excellent SaaS based compliance platform. Market leader in the compliance area utilizing technology.

    Cons

Once a prospect can come to terms of using technology to automate a lot of their compliance related activities you can achieve a sale.

    Great place to work!

    Dec 27, 2015 -

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Continuity offers an environment where employees are encouraged to constantly learn and grow. Problem solving happens at all levels of the organization, with a strong value placed on innovation and teamwork. The management team has a true open door policy, and a relatively flat organization structure keeps communication open and fluid.

    Cons

Continuity has first movers advantage, which means it is operating in a space with very little to compare itself to. This can be frustrating at times due to difficult sales cycles, client dissatisfaction/churn, and a learning curve for bringing new employees up to speed.

    Pros

Innovative company, intelligent staff, amazing mission which most employees are passionate about and understand. Product offering has great potential.

    Cons

Still in "start-up" phase so they continue to experience growth pains. While the company's mission to help community financial institution's survive is awesome and the product has great potential, more key players and decision makers that know and understand the industry they serve are needed.

    Saving the community banking industry

    Pros

Legitimately saving the community banking industry, which is critical to the sustainability and growth of America. It's really easy to drink the Kool-Aid, which has no downsides. I was always very proud of our meaningful work.

    Cons

Many growing pains. However, the company secured a large investment and has been on a hiring rampage. Many of the cons I experienced likely no longer exist.
