    Great team of co-workers in every Department. Certain areas of management are very knowledgeable and makes the company worth being part of.

    Pros

    Great people, challenging work, exciting products and being able to outfit my house with home automation gear.

    Cons

    Company vision is unclear, innovation is slowed by internal issues and inconsistent process. Solid advice is too often trumped by upper management based on opinion vs real data. Paralysis by analysis.

    Advice to Management

    Provide a vision. Where are we headed in the next 3 to 5 years? If you aren't sure then rely on those around you to help. It's impossible for you to have the capacity to make all the decisions. Develop an environment of empowerment, hire the best talent and let go those that aren't contributing to the advancement of the company.

    Pros

    Innovative products Great coworkers Freedom to innovate

    Cons

    Promotions promised over and over but never actually happen. much upper management lives out of state and commute in making them less accessible and less in touch with actual on the floor issues. Many talented engineers have left because of these exact issues. They also don't pay high enough salaries, especially considering what they expect in terms of hours during crunch times. For a modern tech company, the... employee atmosphere is much more Dark Ages.
