    Pros

Was very flexible and challenging. Travel. Able to work from home when not traveling. Health insurance. Reimbursement for travel and cell expenses.

    Cons

Constant travel. Last minute job assignments. Dissolution of Department. Little time off (you have it -just never can use it.) High expectations and little in return for efforts to accomplish goals. Promises made and not fulfilled.

    Advice to Management

Don't count on verbal promises made and expect constant-rapid shifting assignments.

    hours can be very flexible
    you can work sometimes alone

    Cons

There is a lot of favortism employees are screwing this company every chance they get charging over for hours they are not working our team lead takes all the hours example if a cosmetic set is allotted 20 hours we finish in five we only get five and team lead takes 15 fair is fair the hours need to be split among everyone the corporate owners need to look at this and dig deeper into the hours being charged

    Advice to Management

take a look at dishonest employees that are in charge they are charging you for hours not worked

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Pay is good for this type of work, flexible schedules, enjoyable work

    Cons

Communication is horrible, Almost all emails and phone calls will be ignored, I will be told one thing and when that changes no one will let me know. Jobs will just come and go with no notice, so you will plan to work and then find out you no longer have that job. Instructions you are given will upset stores. The stores will want you to do more, but you are told not too. Management is terrible my Manager never answers call, I have worked for this company for two years and I have had only one phone call, they have never returned a call. Same with emails, ti can take weeks for an email response. This company has a ton of potential but they are using any of it.

    Advice to Management

Communication answer your phones and emails. Talk to the stores and you employees so everyone is on the same page. Reduce the size district managers run, they are too large for one person

Current Employee - Merchandiser in Albany, NY

I have been working at Convergence Marketing (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There is variety of projects, mostly 1 hour cosmetic display refreshing but have also done occasional candy pack oust and gift card displays
    resets.

    Cons

During slow periods I was left without work for a month.
Also work is automatically loaded and removed from your schedule with out any notice and you can not select work as desired.
Too many miles placed on personal vehicle to get the desired hours.
Rude and unprofessional co- team workers.
Slow pay period and they have reject reports if the date completed twice on the forms.

    Advice to Management

Give merchandisers more steady work and allow them to sign up for work.
pay weekly as time consuming resets can not always be reported on the same day.
