    Pros

    My job was to assist the customer with technical difficulties with the company service I would have to make sure the It was the service problem and not the phone or Internet and also provide great customer service

    None really. Only pro is full time schedule.

    Cons

    Point system is ridiculous. And they don't care about your needs, they just want bodies in their seats to take calls.

    Advice to Management

    Care about your employees more so that worrying about meeting business demands. Once you care about your employees first, everything else will fall together.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Same schedule unless you have to take a day off for something important. Also can grab hours after people drop their shifts.

    Cons

    Some people do not know how to talk with a customer service representative. Also some of your co-workers will try to use you.

    Advice to Management

    Talk to your team lead as often as you can.

    Pros

    Laid back environment, friendly staff, incentives, lunch room has vending machines with good selection :)

    Cons

    Parking, training is more based on personality while on the phone and verbage and less about what you should know in order to help the customer, they put you on the phones in the middle of training before being fully prepared to actually fix the customers problems.

    Advice to Management

    Obtain a system that allows the trainees to practice scenario calls rather than just theory.

    Pros

    Great place to learn team building. Although the pay isn't so great, you get a lot of experience as both a tech oriented support and an accounting practitioner

    Cons

    Performance matrix should be worked on. Also pay state should be reviewed and more employee activities would be appreciated. Not bad

    For those who have never worked customer service or at any call center it gives you a great experience. There are also many benefits from working at Convergys, overall great atmosphere!

    It's loud, from the moment you arrive, until the moment you leave.
